If you are reading this post, then you probably had landed on Fatma’s blog before; The blog that marked the zenith of Tunisian blogosphere before it received its death sentence…
If you visited it, then you must have dived into Arabicca’s witty, sometimes emotional with a hint of sarcasm and irony, peculiar ocean of words…
Those words weren’t just words, they were the harvest of a field seeded by decades of political, religious and social oppression to say the least. Those words needed to see life, chose Fatma to be the messenger and she just couldn’t resist them; They were magical and powerful, they can make you laugh, scream, cry and dream… They were simply beautiful…
I am guilty of the amalgamation of feelings I acquire when I read her words and I, like many of you, feel overwhelmed with what’s happening to her… She is paying the price of daring and voicing my thoughts, my anger, sadness and happiness.
And for that, I say it loud and clear: I am Fatma and I won’t shut up!
